Today a troop of brachiosaurs (arrived). They are stopping over on their way to Snailshanks. Later in the year, this group will come back to bring the oldest hatchlings and children to Treetown. The riders stayed up late, examining the wicker saddle and repairing it. The saddle has carried many generations to Treetown. This year contests (will be held) to see who will go, and this year we may only bring three.

Today was the Blessing of the Vines. A farmer showed me his fruit and described how it grows. Its vines grow on trees with them feeding off each other. The fruit is called sunset fruit or sunselo. It keeps very well and tastes of tangy fruitiness.
